Google Street View is a feature of Google Maps that provides 360° horizontal and 160° vertical panoramic views along streets, spaced 10-20 meters apart. To take photos, Google Street View uses cameras placed on the roofs of different cars, called Google Cars.

The photos, the police explained, were crucial and allowed the arrest of two people.
