what's behind the announcement of the latest surprise

The pattern is known. The choice of subject is unprecedented. In recent days a series of adverts are appearing on Meta which talk about a surprise left in thelegacy of Valentino Garavanithe Italian designer who died on January 19th at the age of 93. The title previewed in the advert has some variations but the average is this: “Valentino’s secret will: the clause that shocked his family”.

Just open the ad to understand what’s behind so much amazement. The full title in fact becomes: “Valentino Garavani’s latest surprise: why the king of Italian fashion has left a legacy investment platform instead of billions”. Perhaps there is no need to say anything else. Behind this announcement there is the usual marketing campaign peppered with some fake news.

How to recognize the scam: the construction of the news

We’ll say it right away. The whole system is a scam. We start from a recent news story and move on a theme that intrigues readers. The topic of Valentino’s legacy is still open. And then we land in an article that seems to have been published by someone reliable newspaper. In this case it is RaiNews. We remember this: neither the faces nor the newspapers involved with these operations they are involved in the scam. The page is well done. On the contrary. Very good. The header fonts and colors are reproduced precisely. Certainly an attentive eye, perhaps a regular reader, immediately understands that there is something strange. But it’s easy for anyone else to be fooled.

How the new Nutella scam works: false offers to steal credit card details

The article tells a story quite imaginative. Valentino would have left image rights to a tailor from Testaccio and distributed assets and properties to the other heirs. Some real, some completely invented. Then the turning point. In the fifth point of this raving testament we talk about one investment platform on which Valentino would have worked in recent years.

The EvoVerdex case

The platform is called EvoVerdex and in a dedicated paragraph it is explained how it works. Keywords we’ve seen in dozens of other similar ads. Initial deposit of 250 euro. Contact with a personal manager for configuration. And then no effort. The whole system works with an artificial intelligence who chooses where to invest. Certain. Certain. Of course not.

In short. If that wasn’t enough to be wary of a platform that invents a nnews to advertiseyou can see how this structure has been replicated in several other cases. On Fanpage.it we have analyzed and dismantled these platforms. Once you enter up EvoVerdex you are asked to fill out a form and leave a telephone number. Don’t do it. Net of the operator’s call, your number will enter the archives dedicated to these operations. Prepare to receive dozens of marketing calls.
