Would you rent your body to an artificial intelligence? This is the premise of RentAHuman.aia strange platform where autonomous agents take on human bodies to perform tasks in the real world. From holding a cadvertising art when picking up a package at a post office. Launched in February 2026 by blockchain engineer Alexander Liteplothe platform describes itself as the meatspace layer for AI: a physical layer that connects the digital world of artificial intelligences with that reality of human beings.
Users can register for free. Once they arrive on the platform they create a profile where they indicate skills, city of residence, hourly rate and crypto wallet. Software agents, through protocols such as Model Context Protocol (MCP)they scan a database of available profiles, evaluate everything and book the chosen person to complete a real assignment.
Payments, we read on the platform, mainly take place in stablecoins or other cryptocurrencies on the user’s wallet, without traditional salary intermediaries.
