Everything comes back. Even conspiracies. Since the Artemis 2 mission began, the posts describing the journey of the four astronauts around the Moon have been infested with comments from those questions that the journey is truly underway. Let’s read some messages: “Which film set did they take it from?”, “It’s all fake! Simply embarrassing”, “Life on Mars.. believe it”. “Well-paid actors, like in ’69!” and then “Beautiful comedy played by terrible actors”.
Not only that. If you search for keywords like Artemis 2 Fake on Instagram or TikTok you will find a long sequence of videos where various theses are supported. There are images created with artificial intelligence that show astronauts with a green screenvideos where all frames are sectioned NASA releases and long explanations that cast doubt basic physical principles. All patterns that we have already seen in the last 50 yearsgiven that the theories where the moon landing is doubted they come from very far away. Meanwhile, here we leave you the real photos of the mission that recently passed the far side of the Moon.
Images created with Green Screen: it only takes a few seconds
Many of the photos that revolve around these theories are generated by artificial intelligence. On the topic green screen there are many. They are photos that replicate the poses with which we saw the astronauts on board Orion in interviews and videos. They are not difficult to build. Here we leave you a test done directly with Grok. Inside is the Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen, the only one who is not linked to NASA. A few seconds were enough to put it inside a green screen, a green sheet used in cinema and then erase the background and put anything else behind it. It took just a few moments to make. We imagine that adding technicians, cables and sets doesn’t take much longer.

Video analysis of the SLS launch: the cabin problem
Among the theories that cast doubt on the launch of Orion into space we have found at least one that it’s actually interesting. In the official NASA images you can see that while the rocket takes off there are four cabins that move from the launch tower towards the base. In the comments below the video on NASA’s profile is full of Gifs and images where this detail is reported. The thesis is simple: the astronauts never boarded Orion, they simply came down with the cabins as the rocket took off.
Now. There are two problems related to this thesis. The first is logical: If the astronauts actually had to descend just before launch they could have done so less dramatic. Organizing the escape in four numbered cabins filmed live worldwide perhaps wasn’t the best way to hide. The second problem is of nature technique. Those filmed in the video are indeed emergency cabins but theirs detachment from the launch tower it is expected in any case. Bringing them to the ground is necessary to prevent them from being ruined by the heat of the engines or by the vibrations triggered by the launch of the rocket.
