HONOR it is carving out an increasingly prominent space for itself on the market, also thanks to the choice to focus on smartphones with high capacity batteries, thanks to the possibility of exploiting the silicon-carbon technology. With the next model arriving, however, the company wants to exaggerate and is working on a very ambitious project. Here are the details.
A super battery phone on the launch pad?
From the latest rumors, it would seem that HONOR is testing a smartphone with a12,000 mAh battery. This is not a laboratory prototype but a model that has already entered the production phase “trial production” which anticipates the start of series production. There has already been talk of projects of this type for HONOR in the past (which would also have tested a 14,000 mAh battery).
The company has several product lines in China, such as the series models Win and the series Powerwhich can rely on very large batteries. The new smartphone with a 12,000 mAh battery (the value refers to the typical capacity that will be advertised by the brand while the nominal one could be 11,790 mAh) could enrich one of these lines.
For the moment, there are no confirmations regarding the debut in Europe of a model with these characteristics. In many cases, the company has opted for a reduction in battery capacity for its smartphones intended for the European market. As a result, the arrival of a 12,000 mAh model is, for now, unlikely. We will know more in the future.
