Circular presented the new Ring 3 seriescomposed of the models Ring 3 Pro and Ring 3 Slimtwo smart rings designed for different needs. Both integrate an NFC chip for carrying out contactless payments and a vibration system directly on the finger, which can be used to receive notifications, reminders and alerts without resorting to acoustic signals.
The Ring 3 Pro features a slimmer design compared to the previous model and offers advanced health monitoring equipment. Features include a FDA cleared ECG system for atrial fibrillation (AFib) detection, blood pressure trend monitoring, glucose monitoring, advanced sleep analysis and a comprehensive biometric tracking system.
Also on the autonomy front, the new Pro model introduces a significant improvement compared to its predecessor. The battery indeed delivers up to 12 days of usecompared to the seven days declared for the previous generation. The Ring 3 Slim, on the other hand, was designed to be even thinner and lighter than the Pro, focusing on a compact design and a more essential set of functions dedicated to health and well-being.
Further details and differences between the various Circular Ring 3 models
The Slim model allows you to monitor sleep, heart rate, HRV, SpO2, skin temperature and daily activity, offering up to 10 days of autonomy. Circular underlines that not all users need the most advanced health features and that the new model was created for those looking for a simpler, more elegant smart ring focused on essential information.
Fingertip vibrations, found on both models, can be used for a variety of functions, including silent alarms, medication reminders, alerts on important health metrics, and guided breathing exercises. Both rings are made in titanium steeloffer water resistance up to 50 meters and support wireless charging.
The Ring 3 series will be available in sizes from 6 to 14 and, like the previous Ring 2 generation, it will be offered in gold, rose gold, silver and black. Circular has not yet released pricing or pre-order information, which will be announced in the coming months. The company plans to make both models available in early 2027.
