Xiaomi 18 Fold takes up the design of the Galaxy Z Fold 8, with solutions similar to those that will characterize the iPhone Ultra. The model, as confirmed by the company, will be able to count on the proprietary chip Xring O3as confirmed directly by Xiaomi, which also made the presence of a 7.58 inch foldable display and of a 5.38 inch external display. The smartphone will have a triple rear camera and will be marketed in color Nishino Red (but there will also be other options). The smartphone should have up to 16 GB of RAM (as confirmed by a recent benchmark) and should debut with Android 17 at launch.
In recent weeks, Xiaomi has confirmed its intention to launch its new foldable on global marketas part of the new Xiaomi 18 range (which will include at least three variants, 18, 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max). At the moment, however, there are no confirmations regarding a possible European debut which remains an unlikely scenario. More details regarding the new model should arrive over the next few days.
