Samsung prepares to bring its Privacy Display to other smartphonesafter its debut with the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The latest rumors of these hours clarify the future intentions of the company which aims to extend the use of technology to other product categories. Here are the details.
Two new Galaxy with Privacy Display
The Privacy Display will be re-proposed by Galaxy S27 and, in particular, by the variants Pro And Ultra who will be the only ones who can count on this functionality.
For the moment, the other models in the Galaxy smartphone range will be able to count on a “traditional” display. The news was confirmed by a report from the Korean magazine ETNews.
Let’s remember that other manufacturers as well of smartphones are ready to launch a technology similar to Privacy Display which however will have to be tested in the field to understand if the quality level offered will be similar to that achieved by Samsung.
Not just smartphones
Samsung doesn’t want to limit its Privacy Display to smartphones. The next step for the Korean company, in fact, will be the extension of this functionality also to Galaxy Book notebookswith high-end models that could soon integrate the technology already seen on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The debut, in this case, could take place at the beginning of 2027.
For the moment, official details are not available, but it is clear that the many rumors on the subject represent an important confirmation. The technology that guarantees greater privacy will become a central element of the high-end models of the Galaxy line, not only on smartphones.
