Google has opened the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL reservations with a launch promotion built around the trade-in. From 12 August (4.00 pm) to 1 September 2026, anyone who purchases one of the two new top of the range smartphones and trades in an old smartphone can obtain a total reimbursement up to 980 eurosa figure that includes an extra bonus of 400 euros reserved for those who purchase directly on the Google Store.

How the launch trade-in for the new Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL works
The trade-in mechanism for the new Pixel 11 Pro family especially rewards those who go to the Google Store: on direct purchases the bonus included in the refund is 400 euroswhile on other sales channels it drops to 300 euros. Below 75% of the estimated value, the old smartphone is instead returned to the sender.
Before sending, expected within 30 days of receiving the new Pixel, it is necessary to perform a factory data reset: without this step the exchange is not processed. The credit is provided as an immediate discount at checkout, as a refund on the original payment method or, when this is not possible, as a Google Store credit; those who purchased in installments through Klarna instead receive a refund according to the terms of their financing contract. Which used smartphones are evaluated for trade-in
Google groups eligible devices by brand, and for the purchase of Pixel 11 Pro or Pro XL the bonus included in the refund is the same for all models indicated in the same range: 400 euros on the Google Store, 300 euros on other retailers. On the design front, Pixel 11 Pro refines the range’s already iconic camera bar with a more rounded profile and a new integrated dynamic flash. The photographic sector receives the most significant update on two of the three sensors. The telephoto lens switches to a sensor from 48MP larger (1/2″), with zoom up to 120x and 30x improved light sensitivity. Among the software functions debut Pixel HiLightwhich with the phone upside down uses the camera flash to personalized notifications from selected contacts, and Magic Capturewhich with just one click records videos and high-resolution shots of the same moment together. Added to all this is a deeper integration with Gemini, designed to offer personalized assistance in daily activities while keeping control of the data in the user’s hands (function available in selected countries and languages, for users aged 18 and over).
But what changes between Pixel 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro XL? Pixel 11 features an Actua OLED display 6.3 inches2424 x 1080 resolution and fixed refresh rate between 60 and 120 Hz, powered by a 4,985 mAh. Pixel 11 Pro shares the same 6.3-inch diagonal, but switches to a Super Actua LTPO panel with variable refresh 1-120 Hz and a higher resolution, 2856 x 1280; the battery, however, drops slightly to 4,850 mAh. Pixel 11 Pro XL is the model with the largest screen in the family, a Super Actua LTPO from 6.8 inches and resolution 2992 x 1344, always with variable refresh 1-120 Hz. The larger diagonal also corresponds to the largest battery in the range, 5,115 mAhcombined with faster wired charging: 45W, compared to 30W on the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro.
The photographic sector marks the clearest distance between the models. Pixel 11 relies on a dual rear camera, with a main sensor from 48MP (f/1.7 aperture) and a 13 MP ultra-wide angle lens, plus a 10.5 MP selfie camera. Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL instead go up to three rear sensors: main from 50MP48 MP ultra-wide angle with macro function and 48 MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, combined with a 42 MP front camera.
On the memory front, Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro share the cuts of 12 or 16 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of non-expandable storage, while Pro XL adds the 1 TB variant. The differences can also be seen in the weight: Pixel 11 weighs 197 grams, Pixel 11 Pro 204 grams and Pro XL, the heaviest of the three, 226 grams. All three share IP68 certification, 5G connectivity and Android 17.
