Google announced a Major update for Gemini Livewhich expands the assistant’s capabilities with several productivity integrations. One of the main innovations concerns Sparkavailable to users with the AI Pro plan or higher, which allows you to use natural voice commands to launch complex, multi-step tasks within services such as Google Drive, Docs and Sheets.
The integration with Spark aims above all to make it easier transform ideas expressed verbally into organized content. For example, you can freely tell Gemini your thoughts and projects while you are away from home and let the artificial intelligence identify the main topics, organize them and prepare a tidy structure directly in Google Docs. The same principle can be used to plan weekly meals and create shopping lists from recipes stored in documents.
Another important addition concerns Gmail. Gemini Live can now interact more deeply with your email through voice commands, allowing you to check for new messages or quickly locate any urgent emails. The assistant can also search, summarize, mark, archive or delete messages without requiring manual use of the application.

Additional integrations for Gemini Live
Gemini Live also integrates with Daily Briefa feature available to AI Plus subscribers and above. Through simple voice requests, the assistant can provide a overview of commitments and activities planned during the daythus offering a summary of things to do without having to consult the various tools separately.
The update also introduces access to memory of previous conversations and the Personal Intelligence function. This way Gemini Live can retrieve information discussed in the past and connect it to associated applications. It is therefore possible to ask, for example, the name of a restaurant mentioned during a previous conversation or retrieve a recipe discussed the day before.
According to Google, the main goal is to eliminate the need to know which tool to use for each individual activity. Gemini Live should independently take care of connecting the different integrations, maintaining the interaction within a single voice conversation and making the management of daily activities more natural.
