On September 5th the Me Contro Te wedding show was staged at the Unipol Dome in Milan, an arena built for the Milan Cortina Olympics. The event is going down in the news as a success with the public, yet not everything went well.
The crowd in front of the arena as at concert by Vasco Rossi. A great deal, with tickets sold between 48 and 250 euros. The consecration of a career on YouTube. Of course, the Me Contro Te wedding show, Sofia Scalia And Luigi Calagnait was all of this. But there is something that is missing a bit in this narrativea detail that stands emerging from the photographs and videos that are coming out in the last few hours: the empty seats. Let’s start with the data. The Me Contro Te show was staged in the Unipol Arena in Milan, an open space for the Milan Cortina Olympics which hosted the football matches on competition days Hockey and then Para Hockey. According to the official portal of Unipol Arenathe structure is designed to accommodate approx 16,000 people. Much, however, depends on which arrangements are chosen for the stage. 16,000 people is the maximum capacityconsidering a standing audience and a stage outside the space dedicated to the audience. By placing chairs in the stalls the capacity is already reduced to 15,000. With less regular arrangements the capacity can drop even further. The layout of the Unipol Dome during the Me Contro Te concert was quite wide. Half of it can be clearly seen in the images released by the official Me Contro Te channels. Each row is divided into three sections: two sections of 10 and one of 4. In the middle there are corridors to pass. And then there is a large central corridor, where the bride and groom entered as if it were the central nave of a church. We can imagine that the other half have a similar arrangement.
The whole wedding show was on Twitch broadcast live. There weren’t many shots towards the audience. The audience was shown often, with well-studied cuts to avoid stopping on empty seats. However, the empty seats were difficult to hide. Me Contro Te’s show wedding didn’t happen sold out. The newspaper il Giorno released a screenshot of the map that could be found on Ticketone: There are seats to fill in many sections of the arena, both in the upper rows where tickets are cheaper and in the stalls. We understand why Me Contro Te’s calls to action have become quite clear. The journalist Grace Sambruna he recovered the stories of Sofia Scaliawhere he explains: “If your daughter followed us as a child you should come, because you risk causing trauma.” To be fair, the tone of the story seems quite ironic.
Various media reported a total of 6,000 tickets soldless than half of the available seats in the Unipol Arena. Even counting the reduced capacity. We do not have direct confirmation of this data but we do have some evidence. Fans and journalists who explain that they had an upgrade in visibility: going from a cheaper seat to a more expensive one. It happened to Viola Stefanello of the Post. But not only that. Below you will find two images. The first is one screenshot of the live broadcast on Twitchcomes from the last minutes of the show when the lights came up on the audience. The second is an AI-processed image where they come from empty seats highlighted.
The empire of Me Against You holds together because they have never taken off their mask: the millionaire turnovers
Difficult to talk about flop. Only on Twitch was the live broadcast of the show seen by over one million spectators and we imagine that some of them also supported their creators with a subscription. The last turnover of Me Contro Te Srl dates back to 2024 and, according to the Chamber of Commerce portal, exceeds 4 million euros. Yet, perhaps, the success of Me Contro Te is not as all-encompassing as it is presented to us these days. Other than Vasco Rossi, there are some holes in this plot of triumphs.
