In a series of videos posted on X, Kim Kardashian showed off the new Tesla prototypes. The influencer published a video with the Optimus robot and one with the Cybercab self-driving car. It is not yet clear when they will arrive on the market.
“I have a lot of questions to ask.” The first comment under one of the latest videos of Kim Kardashian it’s the same one we have while we look at the images published on Marques Brownleeone of the most important creators in the world of technology. Kim Kardashian showed in the pictures Optimusthe humanoid robot developed by Tesla and launched by Elon Musk.
Optimus’ last public appearance dates back toOctober 11th when during the We, Robot event a platoon of Optimus accompanied Elon Musk in the presentation of new Tesla prototypes: the minibus Robovan and the CyberCab fully self-driving car.
Pictures of Kim Kardashian with Optimus
The clip published by Kim Kardashian lasts just right a few seconds. Kim writes: “Look at my new friend.” Then we see Optimus mention the heart gesture and sketch some dance move. In another video, published shortly after, Kim instead films a Cybercab prototype. In the front seats there is another Optimus robot driving. In the comments, many joked that Optimus could be a new suitor or even a new husband.
Where Elon Musk stole his ideas from: the Optimus-Io Robot case is not isolated
This video however appears a little more constructed. The Cybercab is a fully self-driving vehicle: you don’t need a robot to drive it. It is unclear how Kim gained access to all these prototypes. Especially considering that the market release of Optimus is not yet clear. In any case, Kim seems to be very interested in Tesla products: she also owns a Cybertruck.
When Optimus arrives: costs and production
According to Musk production will begin in 2027 and the cost should be between 20,000 and 30,000 dollars. The goal is to create a domestic robot capable of moving in the spaces we already inhabit and providing assistance throughout the day. As we saw with the Cybertruck, however, sometimes the timing launched by Musk can be a little too much optimistic.
