There Galaxy S27 range will arrive on the market at the beginning of 2027 with a Ultra variant profoundly updated and an absolute novelty, represented by the Pro version.
They will also debut on the market S27 and S27+. A new rendering released online by AndroidHeadlines anticipates the design of these two models, confirming the absence of any particular innovations (unlike what we will see on the Ultra version.
Little news for the new S27s
According to the renderings, which refer to the compact Galaxy S27, there will be no particular changes in terms of design, with Samsung confirming the style of its smartphones to focus on an update of the internal components, starting from the SoC (there will be the new Exynos 2700, made on a new version of the company’s 2nm production process).
The dimensions are also confirmed: the Galaxy S27 will measure 149.75 x 71.88 x 7.25 mm. These are very similar values to those of the current Galaxy S26 (149.6 x 71.7 x 7.2 mm). As a result, the smartphone will continue to adopt a display of around 6.3 inches.
It remains to be seen whether Samsung will improve one of the main weak points of its compact, namely the battery. With the arrival of silicon-carbon batteries, in fact, there is the possibility of recording a substantial upgrade in terms of capacity and, therefore, autonomy. The color shown in the renderings, however, is only indicative.
For more details we will have to wait for the next few weeks. In any case, it seems clear that the Korean company intends to focus on the Ultra model and the new Pro, leaving the S27 and S27+ in the background, which will receive a simple refresh.
