Leonid Radvinsky was 43 years old. Ukrainian origins, born in Odessa and then grew up in Chicago. His name was not well known in the mass media, his products were. Radvinsky in 2004 it had launched MyFreeCamsa site where you can watch girls’ explicit performances via webcam. It was the era of cam girls. It’s easy to imagine how Radvinsky’s business evolved. The billionaire owned the majority share of OnlyFans. The estimated assets, according to Forbes, were 7.8 billion dollars.
As Bloomberg reports, Radvinsky died due to cancer. The news was released in the last few hours by OnlyFans with a statement: “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Leo Radvinsky. Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer.”
Radvinsky’s disappearance risks becoming a problem for the future of the company. The billionaire managed OnlyFans shares with his own Fenix International Ltd but he was in negotiations with the investment fund Architect Capital to give up the 60% of the platform shares. According to various estimates, OnlyFans should be worth approximately 5.5 billion dollars.
The case of Epstein’s child models: not all of what you are reading is true
The business model is known and stable. OnlyFans is a site where creators post the most of their contents behind paywall: to see them you need to pay a monthly subscription. Not only that, once the subscription has been unlocked it is possible to request extra content, always paying. Again according to Bloomberg, from 2021 Radvinsky took about $1.8 billion in dividends from the platform.
At first the site was presented as a home for content of all genres, from cooking courses to Pilates classes. By now it has stabilized practically only on pornographic content. OnlyFans offers creators the infrastructure to publish videos and images and in exchange takes a commission of 20% on all trades.
