We asked ChatGPT to predict the ranking of the next edition of the Sanremo Festival. The artificial intelligence analyzed the reviews published by journalists who were able to preview the songs and created the podium prediction. We immediately reveal the last three: Emis Killa, Clara and Sarah Toscano.
We asked ChatGPT to formulate one first ranking of singers call you who will be on the stage at the Sanremo Festival 2025. At the moment we know various details of the event. We know that it will be hosted by Carlo Conti, after many years of Amadeus. We know that there will be 30 singers competing. We know one of the super guests will be Jovanotti, that Damiamo David will be there and that the rules of Fantasanremo have changed.
What we don’t know are the songs. The singers have presented the title correctly but the lyrics and melody have not yet been released, or almost so. The January 20th a small group of journalists who cover music have had access to the exclusive pre-listen of the songs that will arrive on the Ariston stage. It is from here that we took all the information fed to ChatGPT to choose the final podium. What the AI did was not simply average grades but analyzed the reviews to understand which song could best satisfy the characteristics which are usually used for win Sanremo.

What data did we use for the ranking
The ChatGPT model used to create the ranking is ChatGPT-4o, one of the latest versions of ChatGPT on the market, the wonderful csatbot created by OpenAI. For the reviews, however, we entered those from Fanpage, Corriere della Sera and Sky TG24. Useless exercise? In short.
