Live is planning to launch the new X500 series with which the company will renew the high end of its smartphone range. This is a major update: Vivo is trying to carve out one space also in Europe and to do so it is also banking on the success of its high-end models, as has already happened in recent months with the popular one X300 Ultra camera phone.
The new Vivos are coming
The new range will be revealed during the month of September 2026at least as far as the Chinese market is concerned. For the moment, there are three variants coming:
- X500
- X500 Pro
- X500 Pro Max
In the future, the arrival of X500 Ultra which will play the role of cameraphone, alongside the other three models. Not all smartphones will arrive on the European market where the launch is scheduled for the next few months, after arriving on the Chinese market.
Han Boxiao, Vivo product manager, confirmed that the Pro and Pro Max models will have a “ZEISS Ultra Dynamic main camera” with custom Phantom 900 sensor, developed by Sony and Vivo’s Blueprint imaging team. The company has confirmed that the models will also have advanced performance with regards to optical stabilization.
At the moment, there is no detailed information yet on the technical data sheet. Vivo should use the new 2nm chip from MediaTek, also updating various components of the technical data sheet of its smartphones, compared to the previous generation. See you next September to find out more.
