Xiaomi continues to strengthen its range and new certification data in China anticipates a important update for the tablet offering of the company, which recently launched the Xiaomi Pad 8 range in Italy (for more details we point out the review of the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro).
Two new tablets for Xiaomi
The Chinese company is working on two new tablets. The first is the Pad 9 Pro, which will be able to count on support for 67 W fast charging. The model will have a high-end SoC (probably the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5) even if, for now, there are no details. The tablet will also arrive in Europe, strengthening the Chinese company’s tablet offering.
On the launch pad there is also the Pad 8S Prointended for the Chinese market but worth keeping an eye on anyway. The tablet in question, in fact, will be able to count on XRING O3 chipa proprietary solution that confirms Xiaomi’s commitment to the development of chips for smartphones and tablets.
The company aims to significantly improve performance with the aim of adopting its SoCs also on other products. As for the Pad 8S Pro, the tablet will have a 12.5 inch display with LCD panel and a maxi-battery 12,000 mAh. Also confirmed is the presence of a 50 MP rear camera and a 32 MP front camera. The operating system will be HyperOS 4, based on Android 17.
